(Of particular interest – innovations in digital storytimes, such as off-site storytimes, and song- and rhyme-sharing that is inclusive!)

Indigenous Representation is a statewide project with a mission to bring quality Indigenous-authored resources and professional development opportunities to Minnesota educators and librarians. In this live discussion, hear about how we designed Indigenous Representation to ensure accurate representations and foster paradigm shifts using Indigenous-authored materials. Learn about the many paths this work has taken and strategize about the possibilities for such work in your own state.

After a long day of incredible content, it’s nice to unwind. Grab a cuppa, crack open a cold one, or just tune in to chat! At this Networking Happy Hour, we’ll also be viewing the Edible Books submissions (more information on that to come soon!) while we connect and unwind from a developmental day of programming.

ALSC 101 will be an opportunity for new or prospective members to learn some ways to become involved in ALSC. If you’re not currently an ALSC member, this is a great way to learn more about the benefits of membership and how ALSC can support your in your professional growth and development!
